TruNativ Secures $30 Million Series B Funding to Accelerate Growth
Indian nutrition brand TruNativ has announced the successful closure of a $30 million Series B funding round, a development that underscores significant investor confidence in the nation's expanding health and wellness industry. The substantial investment was led by US-based healthcare-focused investment firm OrbiMed, with continued participation from existing investors who engaged in secondary transactions. This capital infusion is earmarked to fuel TruNativ's strategic expansion, encompassing an increase in its product portfolio and broader market penetration across India.
Rapid Revenue Growth and Ambitious Targets
Since its founding in 2019, TruNativ has demonstrated an impressive trajectory of growth. The company reported revenues of ₹130 crore for the fiscal year 2026, a remarkable 350% surge compared to the preceding year. Looking ahead, TruNativ has set an ambitious target of reaching ₹200 crore in revenue for FY27, indicating a clear focus on sustained expansion and market capture. This financial performance highlights the growing consumer demand for accessible and high-quality protein products in the Indian market.
Strategic Expansion in a Booming Protein Market
TruNativ is positioning itself to capitalize on the burgeoning Indian protein supplement market, which is projected to exceed $1.5 billion by 2033. To achieve this, the company is undertaking a multi-pronged expansion strategy. This includes strengthening its offline retail presence in both Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, aiming to enhance accessibility for a wider consumer base. Concurrently, TruNativ is venturing into the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) segment, seeking to integrate its protein offerings into the food service industry and further diversify its revenue streams.
